Notes after interview, It’s your mirror

Sociolinguists examine linguistic diversity
in nation-states, ranging from multilingualism
to the varied dialects and styles used in a single
language, to show how speech reflects social differences
(Fasold 1990; Labov 1972a, 1972b)

I might not learning about sociolinguistic yet but enter the 4th weeks I do my orientation as a new student I know how the people speech reflects social differences and reflects what the content they have in mind actually. In my mind, the case is not fixed to the age but who they are exactly. Mostly an activist organization would have a tough conversation competencies. The other hand, intelligence that they have not necessarily make conversation easy. They just can not reveal the contents of their hearts and minds to the question posed. Even this conversation occurred at a Harvard-educated professor.
